Meet the Vikings During Winter: At the Lofotr Viking Museum, the largest Viking building ever found has been re-created. The original chieftain’s house was established in about 500 A.D. and was inhabited until about 900 A.D. This rebuilt version exhibits an array of finds from this era. Click to explore!

Husky Sled Adventure: We start with a short drive to the Kirkenes Snowhotel, situated next to Gabba Reindeer Park, where you will be outfitted with warm outdoor clothing: Snow overalls, shoes, gloves, and a hat are provided for you. Then it’s time to meet the dogs! The huskies are harnessed to your sled, and eagerly waiting to transport you across the frozen landscape. Kirkenes Snowhotel: Your ice adventure starts with a stroll up to the hotel, where you find Norway’s largest ice bar, where upon arrival we are served an ice cold crowberry shot. More than 15 metric tons of ice are used to construct the bar and sculptures. All the ice comes from a frozen lake close to the snow hotel. Artists cut the ice with chain saws and pull it with snowmobiles into the hotel. In the middle of winter, this ice is almost 28 inches thick. The North Cape: Explore the wild scenery at the North Cape – at the very end of the world. Enjoy the magnificent landscape as you cross the 71st parallel on our journey toward the North Cape, the northernmost point of the European continent. In the summer, you might come across herds of grazing reindeer and a small camp belonging to Sámi reindeer herders. In the winter, the endless white plains and snow-capped mountains are highlighted by dramatic weather and that special Arctic light. The bus has to follow the snowplow the last few miles before reaching the cape. The North Cape plateau itself rises over 1,007 feet above the Arctic Ocean. The  ‘globe’ sculpture has become the symbol of the North Cape, and is always a popular place to get that all-important picture.
