Brønnøysund Village Walk: The village walk of Brønnøysund takes you on a historical journey from the 1800s to the present day! First we make a short stop at the port where the fishing boats dock, and if we are lucky we get to taste delicious fresh shrimps. Then we continue through the town to the beautiful parish church from 1870. During the walk we will also visit one of the many small scale producers of local food in the area. Kirkenes Snowhotel: Your ice adventure starts with a stroll up to the hotel, where you find Norway’s largest ice bar, where upon arrival we are served an ice cold crowberry shot. More than 15 metric tons of ice are used to construct the bar and sculptures. All the ice comes from a frozen lake close to the snow hotel. Artists cut the ice with chain saws and pull it with snowmobiles into the hotel. In the middle of winter, this ice is almost 28 inches thick. The North Cape: Explore the wild scenery at the North Cape – at the very end of the world. Enjoy the magnificent landscape as you cross the 71st parallel on our journey toward the North Cape, the northernmost point of the European continent. In the summer, you might come across herds of grazing reindeer and a small camp belonging to Sámi reindeer herders. In the winter, the endless white plains and snow-capped mountains are highlighted by dramatic weather and that special Arctic light. The bus has to follow the snowplow the last few miles before reaching the cape. The North Cape plateau itself rises over 1,007 feet above the Arctic Ocean. The  ‘globe’ sculpture has become the symbol of the North Cape, and is always a popular place to get that all-important picture. This unique winter experience starts with a snowmobile-drawn sleigh ride from a traditional fisherman’s home to a frozen fjord.
